How does this handle a business day count that crosses a weekend?
Weekends are automatically excluded from the count - if you start on a Thursday and need 5 business days, the calculator skips the intervening Saturday and Sunday and lands on the following Thursday, rather than counting them as business days.
Are the start and end dates both counted as business days?
Yes, if they fall on a weekday - the calculator counts every weekday from the start date through the end date inclusive. For example, Monday to Friday of the same week counts as 5 business days, not 4.
How many business days are in a typical 2-week (10 business day) sprint?
Two full Monday-Friday weeks give exactly 10 business days, assuming no holidays fall in that span - if either end date lands on a weekend, the count will be lower since weekend days are excluded.
