Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the Time Zone Converter?
The Time Zone Converter shows one time converted between two zones. This tool shows a single meeting time across three zones simultaneously, useful for scheduling a call with people in different locations at once.
Does this handle daylight saving time correctly?
Yes - it applies each zone's actual observed DST rules for the specific date you enter, so the displayed times are correct even during DST transition periods.
Can I use this for more than 3 time zones?
This tool shows your zone plus two others at once. For additional zones, use the Time Zone Converter to check each one individually against your base time.
Why do the day names sometimes differ between zones?
A meeting late at night in one zone can fall on the next calendar day in a zone further east, or the previous day in a zone further west - the weekday shown for each attendee accounts for this correctly.
Can I check if a meeting time falls outside normal working hours for an attendee?
The tool shows each attendee's exact local time and date for your chosen meeting slot, so you can see at a glance if it lands late at night or early morning for them - it doesn't flag this automatically, so compare the displayed times against typical 9-to-5 hours yourself.
What if two of my attendees are in the same time zone?
You can select the same zone for more than one attendee slot - the tool will simply display identical local times for both, which is useful for confirming everyone in that region sees the same schedule.
Is this similar to a 'world clock meeting planner' or 'schedule across time zones' tool?
Yes - those are common ways to describe the same task this tool performs: picking one meeting time and instantly seeing what it looks like on the clock in several other locations at once.
